Secor Road Diet
13abc: City of Toledo asking for community input on “stressful” Secor stretch
Strong Towns Toledo is advocating to implement a low-cost trial by restriping Secor Road from four 9-foot lanes to three 10-foot lanes with a dedicated center turn lane. This incremental improvement allows us to observe the benefits of a road diet—enhanced safety and slower, smoother traffic flow—without major reconstruction. The City and residents can evaluate the results firsthand and make incremental changes until the desired result is achieved.
